I had a pretty mixed experience at Sub Karakoy. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore Istanbul and grab a coffee nearby. However, the hotel needs a serious refresh, with some rooms showing their age and cleanliness could definitely be improved. Service wasn't up to par either, especially regarding the airport pickup fiasco.

I had a mixed experience at Sub Karakoy. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help, even lending me a jacket when the weather got chilly. However, the location on a busy street meant I dealt with a lot of noise from traffic and the nearby mosque. The breakfast was enjoyable, but I did have a couple of hiccups with insufficient hot water one morning. Overall, while the hospitality was a highlight, the noise and some maintenance issues held back my experience.
